Are you a Product Owner who wants to be at the forefront of transforming learning through literacy in a high-growth EdTech company? This opportunity will appeal to an experienced product owner who is ready to take a senior role in a high growth organisation. Working directly with the Director of Product, CEO, Product Managers and technology partners, your mission is to bring our ambitious product development roadmap to market. As Product Owner, you will be the key connection between our product and engineering teams, using your product owner skills and excellent communication to deliver.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading sprint planning and backlog management to ensure Bedrock Learning delivers on its ambitious development roadmap
  • Collaborating with engineers, product managers, education specialists and other team members in sprint planning, prioritisation and tracking and reporting progress
  • Leading on testing by developing an emerging UAT capability across the business
  • Working closely with senior members of the business to define and analyse high-level roadmaps and dependencies
  • Feeding in to ideation, discovery and strategy
  • Evaluating new requests against existing priorities and backlogs
  • Developing industry-standard practices and agile ways of working across the product and engineering teams
  • Documenting systems and processes for managing and delivering our products.

Requirements for the role

  • Relevant product owner experience in a SaaS business
  • Thorough understanding of application development and release processes
  • Scrum certified or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience with and knowledge of multiple leading Lean and Agile approaches such as Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and DSDM
  • Proven track record of delivering at pace
  • Effective use of Atlassian tools, Jira and Confluence
  • Skilled at project and resource planning
  • Experience with and knowledge of multiple leading Lean and Agile approaches Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and DSDM
