Summer Challenge activity pack (primary)
Summer Challenge activity pack
Summer is here, school is out and the weather is getting hotter than ever... but breaking up for summer doesn't mean that literacy improvement has to stop.
Learners encounter 3-4x as much high level vocabulary in secondary school as in primary, so improving literacy through fun activities over the summer holidays prepares your primary school learners for success.
This year, we're bringing back another Summer Challenge literacy activity pack. With the theme of voice, this activity pack takes learners through how creatures in nature communicate with one another - plus, it teaches learners how to use their own voice and wow their classmates.
This activity pack includes:
- Ambitious Tier 2 vocabulary embedded in prose
- Writing activities
- Thought-provoking questions
- Challenging literacy exercises
- A variety of creative tasks
... all embedded in rich, Tier 2 vocabulary.
This activity pack works perfectly for primary age learners. For secondary students, find our secondary Summer Challenge activity pack.
We hope your learners enjoy exploring voices in nature, and use their own voices by experimenting with new, vibrant vocabulary.
Have a lovely summer!
