Solutions to a literacy crisis: roundtable discussions

With almost 40% of learners in England failing their English GCSE, we need to act to improve literacy at schools. We are bringing together voices from across the education spectrum to help solve this challenge.

With five roundtable discussion in different parts of England, we aim to come together to create an industry-wide best practice guide for schools, MATs and the government.

You're invited to join us at your local roundtable.

Solving the literacy crisis is an urgent priority for the 2024-25 academic year. The Transforming Education Alliance, powered by Bedrock, is here to tackle this head on. We have seen how important language skills are to equipping learners with the tools they need to fulfil their potential at school and in later life.

We want to bring together educators throughout England to share ideas, best practice and success stories, all with the goal of contributing towards an industry-defining piece to support the education sector into the future.
