What you’ll be doing

  • Narrating teaching videos, excerpts of prose, activity feedback, and the questions and answers to assessment quizzes
  • Managing your workload to meet deadlines

Requirements for the role

  • A clear, engaging voice
  • Familiarity on how to record quality audio
  • Strong literacy and reading ability
  • Meticulous attention to detail, in case of any errors in the copy
  • High levels of reliability and availability
  • Proactive attitude when researching, seeking accurate and consistent pronunciation of unfamiliar names, words, etc.

Desirable criteria

  • Home access to recording equipment and software

If you are local to Norwich, you may be able to record in our in-office sound booth. Otherwise, you will need access to a quality mic, and recording software like Adobe Audition or Audacity.
