Account Manager

Salary: £24,000 to £30,000 DOE + £10,000 OTE

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing EdTech businesses in the UK. Since our inception in 2015, turnover has almost doubled year on year and our market share has increased dramatically. We are now looking for a motivated and conscientious Account Manager to join our dynamic, high-performing team, able to hit the ground running and help coordinate our growing, thriving Account Manager team.

We have been lauded for offering exceptional customer support; in this role, you will be continuing this, available on hand to meet our customers’ needs, no matter how big or small. Maintaining our reputation for great customer service is of vital strategic importance to Bedrock and your role will be essential in achieving this, so we will be looking for someone experienced in customer support and highly dedicated to continuing Bedrock’s high standard of customer service.

You will be assigned your own portfolio of schools to manage, and you will be accountable for ensuring these schools’ requirements are met and that excellent relationships are maintained. You will be empowered to take whatever action necessary to meet a school’s needs and support them on their journey with Bedrock.


£24,000-£30,000 DOE.
£10,000 OTE – you will be rewarded when your hard work and dedication meets targets.

Essential skills

Minimum of two years experience in account management and/or business development
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, and G Suite and new IT systems
Attention to detail and a meticulous nature
Previous customer service experience is highly relevant, especially in high-paced environments
Ability to stay calm under pressure, manage workload and prioritise projects
Patient with all types of customers and an ability to provide clear and calm guidance
Proactive and highly motivated nature, with an ability to independently resolve problems


Key responsibilities

On-boarding new schools onto our Learning Management System
Supporting schools with annual renewals, in line with company targets
Managing existing school accounts and ensuring 100% customer satisfaction
Communicating progress data to schools
Managing existing customer enquiries
Ensuring effective implementation of Bedrock Vocabulary, Bedrock Grammar and more
Communicating customer feature requests to product managers
